We ordered baked oysters Rockefeller as an appetizer and they were delicious. It looks classy and casual at the same time. The exposed bricks is a big thing now and it looked beautiful. First of all, when we walked in, we fell in love with the decor of the building. We are both foodies, love to cook and owned a catering business years ago. My wife and I visited Chesapeake's downtown Knoxville for the first time. I'll definitely recommend this place for a great date night romantic anniversary dinner however I do not recommend it for kids Place even though there was kids everywhere. I know is just kid's meal but should my daughter have to eat over cooked and under seasoned cheeseburger with bland fries. Now was also disappointed with my daughter's cheeseburger and Fry's. Our server tonight was outstanding knowledgeable of the menu super friendly sweet to my daughter really made a difference. When there was this huge beautiful restaurant we could have sat in. However my biggest complaint is that even with a reservation they stuffed us in a corner by the bar and the bathrooms. This awesome server came up and allowed my daughter to hold a lobster she was so excited I'm not sure what his name is but he went above and beyond in my opinion. The hostess was friendly and hopeful I went to check on our table while we were waiting on the table. Now you walk in and you automatically feel like you're on the coast somewhere. This restaurant is downtown Knoxville and a beautiful location. Today is our 16 Anniversary and we love Sea food because we are both from Florida.
